What happens at my clear aligner consultation?

1You will meet Aylin and Rachel, our Oral Health Therapists, and discuss all about clear aligner treatment - including digital treatment planning, how to care for your aligners, and your smile goals.
2Our team will conduct an exam of your smile with photos and x-rays to help determine what treatment you could benefit from most.
3Dr Foo will review your records and provide you with a custom treatment plan, and upon your request, we will email you a quote so you can decide if you would like to proceed with treatment at Pymble Orthodontics. If you're interested in receiving a quote, please note that in order to provide an accurate assessment, we'll need to take photos, which will incur a $50 charge.

How does Invisalign® treatment work?

Invisalign® treatment is an effective orthodontic option which uses clear, plastic aligners to move your teeth into position. Designed specifically for your exact smile, the aligners resemble thin sports mouthguards you can gently slip over your teeth.

You'll be given a series of aligners which you'll change every two weeks from the comfort of home. Every set of aligners is shaped slightly differently to ensure your teeth continue to move into a straighter position.

How do Spark aligners work?

When you come to our Pymble practice for your free consultation, we can take a digital scan of your smile to create an accurate 3D model of your teeth and jaws. Dr Foo will use this model to plan out your treatment and construct custom Spark aligners for you.

The best part about Spark aligner treatment is that you will simply need to wear a new set of aligners every two weeks (or as recommended) rather than coming to our practice for adjustments.
